I had a WONDERFUL start to my second year! First was a 6 month session with my longtime friend from my Dance days and her adorable little girl. Oh, another generation of dancing! We even gave those little feet some early tap dance tests. :) Ellie was in a WONDERFUL mood and was working it for the camera! She was so easy to photograph, which was great news as her's was my first session with my new lighting equipment. I have to say, GREAT purchase! I am so happy with how the photos came out!
Next up I had a family session... in the SNOW! Thank you Mother nature! Are we going to be friends this year??? Last year we were in-sync about 90% of the time and it looks like our relationship is starting off well for 2013. She kept temperatures cool enough for snow, but she was kind enough to throw out some warm sunlight :). Wish she would have warned be a little about the slick ice covered hilly path that I bit it hard on though! Yes, in my typical clumsy style, I pulled a notorious "home alone" style slam to the ground while scoping out my session location before jessica and her family arrived. No worries, no broken bones or more importantly, No BROKEN CAMERAS! :). On a positive note, I was able to let Jessica's kids know from experience that they would fall if they weren't careful. A beautiful family and such sweet kids. We had lots of fun, even when our fingers got a little frozen from snow throwing.
Thank you to my first 2013 Sessions for starting my year on such a positive note!
Check out some sneek peeks from the sessions!
